One Process, Infinite Solutions
One Process, Infinite Solutions is a study of artistic choice-
how artists distinctly respond with unique interpretations in their approach to their studio practice.
Behind every work there is a series of actions [or steps] taken in order to achieve a particular result, known as process. This structure is a path that artists use to construct their personal perspective, which is inherently represented in the works they create. When a particular process is defined with language, a creative rhetoric is employed that can be interpreted an infinite manner of ways.
Blair Johnston defined the process of one painting. She then gave this *one process* to 17 artists local to her Denton community, supplying them each with a canvas frame - and one month to come up with a solution.
